If you’ve walked up the path to the Blackthorn Trust recently you may have noticed that the entrance area looks a little wild and overgrown. We’ve been fund-raising since 2017 so that we can build our new garden – a quiet reflective space containing medicinal plants – which will not only improve the access to our site, but also provide a beautiful space for people to enjoy, as well as therapeutic gardening facilities for people with reduced mobility.

Our new garden, now known as the Healing Minds garden, has been designed by the very talented landscape architect, Marian Boswall. Here she is explaining what we can expect the garden to be like. Work will begin on the garden on the 22nd October. We can’t wait to see it unfold!
